To upgrade your Tome of Kurak, you will need Weathered Skulls. Learn how to get and use this item in Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery.

In a survival game like Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery, it's not uncommon to see monstrous creatures like Skeletons and Spiders. These creatures can drop various items including Weathered Skulls,  and various other materials. 

Weathered Skulls are an important material needed to upgrade one of your items, this guide will detail how you can get and use it in Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery.

Conan Exiles - How to get Weathered Skull

Weathered Skulls are a vital component needed to upgrade your Tome of Kurak in Conan Exiles: Age of Sorcery. To make use of the Tome of Kurak, you will need to build a Thaumaturgy Bench using 300x Stone, 50x Crystal, and 50x Iron Bars. As you progress through the game, upgrading the Tome will require you to collect 20 Weathered Skulls.

There are various ways in which you can obtain them. The easiest way to harvest them is by defeating the following creatures: 

  • Skeleton

  • Skeleton (Armored)

  • Skeleton (Darfari)

  • Skeleton (Dregs)

  • Skeleton (Serpentman)

  • Silent Legion Warrior

  • The Kinscourge

Another way of obtaining Weathered Skulls is by killing Spiders. However, there are a few requirements needed before you journey off to kill these Spiders. You will need to build an Altar of Zath and craft a Zathite Ritual Dagger,  you will need 5x Branches and 15x Iron Bars. 

Once you have acquired your Zathite Ritual Dagger, you can find various Spiders throughout the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah. Simply use your Dagger to harvest  Zathite Bags from these Spiders. It should be noted that not every Zathite Bag will contain Weathered Skulls as it will contain RNG loot; however, you will have a higher chance of obtaining Weathered Skulls using this method.
