The Mayberry jail plays host to Angela Carroll (Susan Oliver), a suspected jewel thief. Turning on the charm, Angela manages to wrap both Andy and Barney around her little finger. Andy is not so bedazzled that he hasn't caught on to the delectable Ms. Carroll's ulterior motives. This was one of several top-drawer episodes written by Harvey Bullock. "Prisoner of Love" made its network TV debut on February 10, 1964.
